He has spent his life studying art. From an early age he was providing artwork for Kannapolis City and Rowan County schools, friends and family. Though he has played other roles in service to his country and community, art has always been a part of his life. He studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was awarded a Bachelors in studio art and graphic design.
